The subtitle, "The Next Kumite" only appears on the box and is not part of the title when it appears in the actual movie.

The U.S. VHS from Dem Productions features the same cover art but the tagline is in the lower right hand corner and does not feature the credits on the bottom.

Even though once we get to the Kumite, and it becomes a re-hash of the original Bloodsport, this is surprisingly a pretty decent sequel with great fight choreography and an awesome villain. It lacks Van Damme, for sure, but It does have his looks like, sounds like, fights like clone, 'Daniel Bernhardt'. A guy that made a career on those attributes.
