This version was released by Vidmark Entertainment in 1998 and is a "Screener Copy" sent exclusively to video retailers.
The "Screener Copy" information is printed on the box and is not a sticker.
There are four trailers that appear before the feature, "Phoenix" starring Ray Liotta, "Niagra Niagra" starring Robin Tunney, a video retailer incentive trailer for "Eden" starring Dylan Walsh and "The Colony".
During the feature, the "Viewing Copy Only" notice appears every few minutes on the screen's bottom.
The label on the cassette is a sticker and is not cheaply made like most screeners.
This is a low grade made for TV flick from the Sci-Fi Channel (Now Syfy) which also goes by the title, "The Advanced Guard".

Released in a hard plastic clamshell snap case, which became popular in the late 90's when companies such as Warner Home Video, Universal & 20th Century Fox began releasing films in widescreen on VHS to counter the DVD explosion.
This version is also available in a box set with photos, a making of book, film reel, and the soundtrack
Special features include a 1973 Behind-The-Scenes documentary "Location: Hong Kong With Enter The Dragon", Original theatrical trailer, an exclusive documentary, "Bruce Lee: In His Own Words", and an introduction by Linda Lee Cadwell".
The running time of the film along with the special features is 135 mins.
Although the back box synopsis states that this version contains an additional 3 mins not included in the theatrical version, there is in fact 10 mins of added footage.

The American New Line Home Video features a different ink label than this Canadian release. The film's logo appears on the U.S. label along with the New Line Home Video logo, The Canadian release features a basic Arial font along with the Alliance Video logo.
Not to be confused with the 1991 Gunnar Hanson film of the same name which also features a "Hook" story and similar anthology plot.
Contains a preview/trailer for the ridiculous 1998 C. Thomas Howell DTV flick, "Sleeping Dogs".
While this film was released during the first few years of DVD, it didn't get a North American DVD release till 2005.
Amy Smart & James Marsden were not stars at this point in their careers and only appear for a few minutes in "The Hook" story but are still featured prominently on the cover. Their names do not appear on the VHS cover but do appear for the DVD release.
