Film is very similar to the 1986 cult classic "Highlander". Some Highlander franchise alumni also appear in   this film. Raoul Trujillo is in Highlander III as Khabul Khan, and Michael Copeman was a regular on Highlander: The Raven as Carl Magnus.

There is also a US version released by Republic Pictures Home Video.

As of this writing, this film has yet to be released on Region 1 DVD.

Followed by a sequel in 1995, "Gladiator Cop".
